The TechTorah program is based on the King James Version of the Bible. Certain words listed below have been translated to reflect their Hebrew root. Many of the words are replace with the Hebrew equivalent. The only exception to the rule is the word “grace.” Since the Hebrew language has no equivalent to the New Testament word “grace” the Greek word “charis” is substituted. Since the New Testament was originally written in Greek, the word “charis” was the original word used by the New Testament authors and subsequently was translated by the King James Version of the Bible to “grace.”
It is hoped that this translation will bring a fuller and richer understanding of God’s Holy Scriptures to its readers.
